Nancy has helped people make the most of their paid and volunteer professional lives for more than 25 years. "Organizations need to enable everyone to contribute fully," says Nancy, "and for each of us to contribute all we can, we must understand our unique talents and styles. Self-knowledge is the mark of both the true leader and the fulfilled person." Whether coaching individuals or teams, Nancy helps clients meet their strategic business goals by bringing out the best in employees and tapping into their personal objectives.

Prior to co-founding TCP in 1990, Nancy was a director in the Organizational and Professional Development Department of P.M. Haeger & Associates, an association management firm in Chicago. In addition to coaching the board members of client foundations, she worked with clients on strategic planning, organizational development and training issues. Nancy began her career as Executive Director of Common Cause in Michigan, where she lobbied state and congressional leaders and was responsible for political organizing, media, and fundraising, along with board and volunteer development. She moved later to volunteer roles as State Chair of Common Cause/Illinois and a member of the Common Cause National Governing Board.

In Charlotte, Nancy serves as a coach for MBA students at Queen’s University’s McColl School of Business. A member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Nancy was Treasurer of ICF’s Charlotte chapter. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of The Diversity Council of the Carolinas.
